Sam has been working in education for 25 years and has experience as a senior leader of moving a school out of category 4. She then moved onto working with National Challenge schools in 2009 and was a Local Authority school improvement partner working across primary and secondary schools for nine years. Since her arrival at CRST in 2018, the trust has grown and her leadership focuses on school-to-school support, curriculum and pedagogy developments and improving outcomes for pupils at a disadvantage. Sam has worked with research schools and many leading experts in school improvement to support the development of colleagues at CRST and oversees CRST’s professional development work.
