Jodie is an accomplished Career Advisor at Priory Community School Academy. Alongside her work at Priory School, Jodie is a freelance Career Advisor at Westhaven Special School. Jodie delivers 1-2-1 careers advice and guidance to students with a wide range of special educational needs, as well as supporting the Careers Leader there to implement meaningful activities and events. With the paid employment figures for adults with SEND still well below 7%, Jodie aims to empower young people to recognise their skills and qualities and believes that everyone has something to offer society.
