Janet Colledge  is a registered career development professional and also a qualified teacher with over 25 years' experience providing and supporting schools, local authorities, career hubs, academy trusts and other organisations to provide award winning careers education. 

A fellow of the Career Development Institute, she runs Outstanding Careers, a successful specialist careers education consultancy. She also blogs, presents, and writes for a wide range of clients specialising in the management and provision of careers education in the 11–19 sector. She is a member of the Careers Writers Association, a member of the Quality in Careers Standard Board and a member of the CDI since its inception and former member of the CDI council.
