Hugh has 45 years’ experience working in the education sector, as a teacher, educational psychologist, university lecturer, local authority head of SEN, regional facilitator in SEND for the Department for Education, and now as one of the founding directors of OLT, working internationally to support the inclusion of pupils with SEND. He firmly believes that teacher skills and knowledge are at the heart of inclusion, and that the UK has lost its way through an over emphasis on administrative processes. He is also one of the founders of AMAZE, an award-winning charity to support parents through this administrative maze.
