Georgina Durrant is a speaker, author, former teacher and SENCO and the founder of the award-winning SEN Resources Blog, where she shares activities, advice and recommendations for parents and teachers of children with SEND. She hosts the podcast SEND in the Experts with Georgina Durrant and is the author of three Special Educational Needs and Disability books: ‘100 Ways Your Child Can Learn Through Play’, ‘How to Boost Reading and Writing Through Play’ and her latest book ‘SEND Strategies for the Primary Years’, which was out on 6th June. Georgina speaks at conferences and to schools about SEND strategies. Her education advice regularly features in the press and media including The Independent, Guardian and Telegraph and most recently on Sky News and Channel 5 News.
