Amy is a primary school teacher with over 10 years’ experience. She has led on the improvement of the SEND provision for the past 3 years in her role as SENDCo at Chorley New Road Primary Academy. The school achieved the SENDIA award in recognition for being an inclusive school improving the outcomes for all learners. She gained her NASENDCO award in her first year of taking the role of SENDCo and facilitated successful interventions and strategies throughout the school, ensuring a positive impact for all pupils across the whole school. Amy has particular interest in the area of supporting pupils through a well-developed sensory programme.
